Jonathan Sweik is an experienced attorney representing the financial services industry, including broker-dealers and registered representatives in customer claims and industry disputes brought before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority; investigations, examinations and enforcement actions by self-regulatory organizations and state and federal regulators; and registered investment advisers and individual advisers in civil litigation with investors and investigations, examinations and enforcement actions by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Sweik also assists public organizations with reporting obligations to federal regulatory authorities.
Mr. Sweik represents entities and individuals in commercial disputes, labor and employment matters, insurance defense and coverage, construction litigation/contract issues and civil appeals in state and federal court. His experience includes the litigation of a variety of contract disputes, business torts, employment agreements, restrictive covenants including non-competition/non-solicitation agreements, breach of lease and enforcement, shareholder/member disputes, receiverships and injunctive relief.
