Nicholas M. Hayes

Nick Hayes is an attorney in Paesano Akkashian, PC’s Transaction Practice Group.  Nick represents public and private companies and individuals in a variety of general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, securities, contracts, intellectual property, and real estate transactions.  Nick’s practice includes supporting companies through all stages of its life cycle, including start up, funding, and dissolution.  Nick enjoys working on complex legal matters and working with businesses owners to support their business. Nick has experience working closely with executives and business owners to support their needs and the needs of their business. 

Prior to joining Paesano Akkashian, Nick served as Corporate Counsel for Rocket Mortgage and the Rocket Family of Companies.  Nick worked closely with the technology team protecting internally developed technology and preventing third party infringement and claims.  Nick also helped support the expansion of the ROCKET brand and businesses from mortgages to consumer technologies. 

During law school, Nick clerked for the Honorable Sean F. Cox at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. 

Away from work, Nick spends his time coaching ice hockey and enjoys traveling.
